Carlos Fernandes

Carlos Fernandes

Finance Director

Carlos has 17 years’ experience in the mining, and oil and gas industries and has been part of the Angus team since 2013, guiding it through its IPO process in 2016. He has a very strong track record in accounting and finance roles at both company and project level and particular expertise in identifying M&A opportunities, achieving production targets and running development and production programmes. He has over 11 years commercial experience working in the Mining and Oil & Gas industry.

Tim

Tim Kaye

Head of UK Operations

Tim has 40 years of oil and gas industry experience having held senior management positions in both upstream and downstream operations within the UK onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. He acted as former Operations Lead for BP and EnQuest in the North Sea, and he has an established track record for delivering strategic improvement in operations. He has acted in lead roles for M&A activities in the North Sea.

Ross

Ross Pearson

Wells and Subsurface Director

Ross has more than 20 years experience in the energy sector, having held a number of technical and management roles, most recently at IGas Energy where he was Technical Director, as well as at Origin Energy and Senex Energy. He has significant experience in both Australia and Canada.

Krzysztof

Krzysztof Zielicki

Interim Chairman

Krzysztof has a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry spanning four decades, having held senior management positions in major energy companies including BP working on world-wide acquisitions, Golar LNG working on gas developments and at TNK / Rosneft where he was Vice President for M&A and Strategy. He has been involved in mergers and acquisitions valued in excess of $200 billion.

Antoine

Antoine Vayner

Non-Executive Director

Antoine joined the board of Angus Energy in June 2024, representing Kemexon, the company’s largest shareholder. He has considerable experience in origination and execution of a variety of transactions in the energy space having previously worked for St James’s Wealth Management, the Mirabaud Group, and IDCM (Finance and M&A advisory) in London, before taking a position in strategy and business development of the investment arm of Kemexon.

Alexander Craig

Alexander Craig 

Non – Executive Director

Alex is a Partner and Co-founder of Aleph Commodities. His expertise lies in commodities, infrastructure and asset management. Prior to Aleph, Alex was a founding partner at Omikron Partners and Liberty Street Partners, redeveloping distressed real estate and infrastructure projects. Alex is advisory board member at Taurus Investment Holdings, a private equity real estate firm based in Boston. Previously, he was Portfolio Manager at Tiverton Trading – a global macro and commodities hedge fund. Alex holds a BA and MA from University College, London.

Richard Glass

Richard Glass

Non – Executive Director

Richard has over 25 years’ experience in investment, development, and leading complex multi-disciplinary project teams. An entrepreneur with a strong track record in identifying and executing M&A opportunities, he has founded and partnered with institutional investors in a number of successful businesses. He previously held roles with an international bank and continues to advise select financial institutions on specialised matters. Richard believes that long-term business relationships create sustainable value for all stakeholders. His philanthropic work is focused on tertiary education, small business development, and large-scale community initiatives in South Africa. He holds an MBA and a BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
